It’s ok to be you
I love to travel and meet different people from all parts of the world. The world is diverse and full of life, and I have learned so many valuable lessons from people of all different ethnicities, backgrounds and ages. There is no right or wrong way to look or feel provided you aren’t hurting anyone. We aren’t born into this world judgmental or narrow minded, we learn this behavior.
We are all unique and beautiful: It doesn’t matter what shade your skin is or how your hair looks or what color your eyes might be. It doesn’t matter if you live in a large home or a small apartment. What you wear or what you drive or how advanced your phone is does not determine how special you are. How you look and what you have is not really who you are, and if you believe that you are selling yourself short.
The important thing to realize is how special you really are when you look in the mirror. There is no other person just like you! “You are Unique” and “One of a Kind”. Love yourself even when others are unkind. What someone else says about you is not a true indicator of who you really are. When people speak poorly of someone it is usually because they don’t like what they see when they look into the mirror.
Be proud of who you are and what you have gone through in this life. All of these things, whether you see them as good or bad, have contributed to making you the unique individual you are today. It’s ok to be you. Unleash what’s Unique!!
